Partner user agreement

• 1. In order to avoid unnecessary losses, users should carefully assess their own office environment and ability of installation and maintenance to make sure it is definitely capable of deployment of AIS base stations.
• 2. Users need to have a long-term fixed office place where it has a certain height, a direction towards the port, close to the port, and good lines of sight. At the same time the place should have a stable power supply and network conditions,which is suitable for the deployment of AIS base stations.
• 3. Shipfinder will first evaluate partners user's Application based on office environment , for approved Applications, Shipfinder will provide a set of base station equipment (including the EL2000 AIS receiver, AC / DC power supply) to partner users for a price of 500 US dollars (including freight) with one-year warranty. A complete set of base station also need antenna and feeder, due to expensive freight , we suggest partner users make local procurement on their own according to the detailed technical models(usually less than 100 dollars).Detailed information please refer AIS base station. if partner users do have difficulties in their own procurement, Shipfinder may provide at an extra cost of 150-300 dollars according to different freight.
• 4. AIS receivers connect LAN of users through network cables, therefore users need to assign an IP address of LAN for the receiver, and guarantee that there is no conflict for the IP address and can access the Internet; the receiver use UDP 7000 port to send data, and users need to assure the port opens.
• 5. The AIS receiver provided by Shipfinder will only be used for AIS data transmission through network, and does not collect, transmit any other information of users within the LAN.
• 6. Users self-install and debug AIS base stations under long-range guidance of Shipfinder.
• 7. Users should be prepared to secure power supply, lightning protection and other measures during the deployment of base stations, Shipfinder is not responsible for any losses due to improper deployment, or accidents caused by lightning strikes, etc..
• 8. Users must make a commitment that the device can only be used for cooperation with Shipfinder, and can not be resold or used for other purposes.
• 9. After user's deployment being completed, Shipfinder will assess the data quality that is actually received through the receiver , Shipfinder keeps the right to determine whether the quality of the data meets the requirements and whether the user is qualified to become partner users.
• 10. If the user passed data quality assessment of Shipfinder, we will provide the partner user a free universal account, the effective period of the account is equivalent to effective running period of user’ AIS base station.
• 11. If the user fails to pass the data quality assessment, the user should return AIS base station (not including antennas, feeder lines annex) to Shipfinder and bear the freight cost, after receiving the returned base station equipment and making sure it is working well, Shipfinder will refund the money paid by the user for purchasing the base station or to offset the cost of purchasing account of Shipfinder by the user.
• 12. Users have the obligation to give constant care for power supply and network of the AIS base station equipment in order to ensure the normal operation of the base station, the failure of base station should be promptly resolved; if the data received from the base station are often interrupted or there is substantial decline of data quality, etc, which unable to meet requirements of Shipfinder services, Shipfinder holds the right to cancel the status of being our partner user. From the day when the user becomes our partner user, within one year, the user can return AIS base station (not including antennas, feeder lines annex) to Shipfinder and bear the freight cost, after receiving the returned base station equipment and making sure it is working well, Shipfinder will refund the money paid by the user for purchasing the base station or to offset the cost of purchasing account of Shipfinder by the user.
